About Northern Water
Northern Water is a public agency created in 1937 to contract with the federal government to build the Colorado-Big Thompson Project.
The C-BT Project collects water west of the Continental Divide and delivers it to Northeastern Colorado for agricultural, municipal, domestic and industrial uses.
Northern Water and its Municipal Subdistrict are also in the process of permitting and designing two large-scale water storage projects to meet the future water needs of Northeastern Colorado. Learn more about the Windy Gap Firming Project and the Northern Integrated Supply Project.

Senior Water Resources Engineer
The Senior Water Resources Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support and analysis for Northern Water and the Subdistrict, focusing on project operations modeling, water resources planning, and hydrologic modeling.
Water Resources Engineer II
The Water Resources Engineer II position provides engineering support and analysis for Northern Water and the Municipal Subdistrict focusing on water resources engineering, water resources planning modeling, and hydrologic modeling.

Electronic Instrumentation Technician
The Electronic Instrumentation Technician installs, operates and maintains electronic data monitoring and telemetry equipment for the purpose of collecting time series data to support water resources and water quality programs.
The Communications Intern position will assist members of the Communications Department in creating visual documentation and indexing of Northern Water projects, events, and personnel for use in future publications and other information materials.
